After an extremely brave battle against prostate cancer, my brother Richard died on 19th February 2019, aged just 52.
He was VERY much loved by people from all over the world, with his unusual shirts, strange headwear, superb model making, Blakes 7 and other geeky tellybox watching, celebrity meetings (many of who seemed more pleased to meet HIM!) moony photos, thoughtful gifts, Clangery love, kind hearted ways, and so many other fine qualities, that touched SO many people's lives, in so many different ways.
He never gave up, and very rarely complained about, what he called, having the 'wrong genes' and the speed in which he had to adapt to a different life to the one he was used to living, should be an inspiration to everyone, always ready with a cheery comment, even when things were certainly less than 'cheery'...
Our world seems a lot darker, but I'd like to think that the stars are shining just that little bit brighter, for my beautiful, brave, big brother....
I've set up this page in his memory, and in the hope that it will raise awareness, and try and help other families and friends avoid the heartbreak and devastation that we feel when someone remarkable is beaten by this cruel condition....
